Dedicated over four decades to working with people of all ages in private practice, educational and psychiatric institutions. As School Psychologist for the Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) was responsible for evaluating students facing learning challenges. Represented DoDDS in the Family Support Services Committee to identify and refer cases of domestic violence and abuse in military families. Faculty member of the Department of Psychology at the Universidad Santa María La Antigua in charge of teaching Educational Psychology courses. In the metal health field, provided services for adolescent and adult psychiatric patients in a mental institution in New York City. As a founding member of the Bridge Center team, devotes most efforts to working with students (preschool through college) whose school performance do not meet expectations. Evaluations are also offered for s Performs psychoeducational evaluations in English or Spanish according to the examinee’s dominant language. Administers tests of intellectual and cognitive abilities, academic achievement, attention, and behavior to determine student's level of functioning, strengths, and weaknesses to recommend the necessary interventions to increase his/her chances of becoming a more successful learner. Therapeutic sessions for children exhibiting difficulties with self-regulation, social skills, low self-esteem, and low frustration tolerance are also offered.
